Privacy policy

What we collect

• The website address you enter and the scan results (page URLs, page titles, HTML snippets of elements with issues). We store these so you can come back to your report.
• Your IP address, temporarily, to limit how many free scans one person can run per hour. Rate-limit records are deleted after 24 hours.
• If you buy a report: your email address and the order ID from our payment provider, so we can send you the report link and handle refunds. We never see or store your card number — payment is handled by Polar (their privacy policy), who is the merchant of record.
• Anonymous page-view counts via Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites.
• Error reports via Sentry when something breaks, which may include the URL being scanned.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or share your data, run ads, send marketing email, or use tracking pixels in the emails we send. We don’t scan pages behind a login. We don’t use your scan results to train anything.

Cookies

One cookie, only after you buy: it holds the key to your report so it opens without the emailed link. It is limited to your report’s address and expires after a year.

Retention and deletion

Free previews are deleted after 30 days. Purchased reports are kept for one year so you can re-download them. Email support@a11ysweep.com to have a scan, report, or your email address deleted sooner.
